BLOGS GAME ON!

Would you like fries with your game?

Burger King is cooking up some flame-broiled gaming.

Starting Sunday, Nov. 19, BK will be serving up three games -- "Pocketbike Racer," "Big Bumpin' " and "Sneak King" -- for $3.99 apiece with the purchase of a Value Meal. These titles will play on both the Xbox 360 and the original Xbox and will feature BK iconic characters (you know, that creepy, big-headed King guy and the Subservient Chicken).

Surprisingly, these games will even feature Xbox Live support, allowing for online multiplayer action.

It's an interesting mix, blending fast food and video games. The BK brand has already appeared in several video games, most notably when The King was an optional trainer in "Fight Night Round 3" for the Xbox 360. And, as the price is just about as cheap as a chicken sandwhich, gamers will likely gobble up these budget titles, just to get a taste of how good they are.

While I haven't found any screenshots that might clue us in to how strong these titles might be, the MS/BK press release does whip up eyebrow-raising images that seem tastier than chocolate shakes, for almost the same price.

What do you think? I know I will be having it my way come November (those I work with know the BK near the Free Press is one of my guilty pleasures for lunch, any way), and at least giving the King a chance at claiming the throne of budget gaming.

Great. Just what our youth need - a combination of fast food and video games to make sure they get so unbelievably fat and lazy that they can't even get out the front door. What, no power drink tie in?
