Schneider & Lilja miss practice

Red Wings forward Mikael Samuelsson is definitely ready to play and looks to be back on Henrik Zetterberg’s right side when the Wings play the Flames Wednesday night at Joe Louis Arena.
Valtteri Filppula had been on Zetterberg’s line, but he looked to be the odd forward out during Tuesday’s practice. That said, the Wings don’t have to make a roster move until Brad Norton (shoulder) comes off injured reserve, so Filppula may stay in the game; if so, it’d be at the expense of either Jiri Hudler or Tomas Kopecky.
Neither Andreas Lilja (back) nor Mathieu Schneider (groin) practiced Tuesday, but coach Mike Babcock said neither was anything serious.
