Back to school musings

We have a really fun issue this weekend on getting the house, the kids, your mind in back to school mode. But for me, it's a reminder that in one year from now, my oldest will be heading to college. I'm fretting already. My friends who are going through it are really struggling. Any advice out there other than to get an apartment in East Lansing? :)

I hate to break it to ya, but once they leave for college, your job is done. Concentrate on the remaining kids while you still have influence, and sit back and watch your eldest blossom after all the TLC you've provided for 18 years. C'mon, Laura, you KNOW you've heard this before!
