Laura Varon Brown
Too young, too old
Posted at 12:14 PM on 09/11/06

My busiest days for email traffic is over the weekend as readers pick up Twist in the Sunday Detroit Free Press. This week I got conflicting emails and phone messages. One caller said we should do more stories about single living and single, younger women. One email said we do too much on younger women and we need to do more stories on more mature women. We try to keep our eye on inspiring women, inspiring stories and stories that are helpful, surprising and interesting. Have a story idea for any age group? Please post them here! We'll try to do the best at any age.

One of the Quotes that inspire me is:
A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
CAUSES A CHAIN REACTION OF POSITIVE THOUGHTS, EVENTS, AND OUTCOMES. IT IS A CATALYST, A SPARK THAT CREATES EXTRAORDINARY RESULTS.

If you want your spirts lifted run
Catherine Galasso-Vigorito's column.
contact her at cgv@anewyouworldwide.com

Every paper should run her column on the front page or at least one of her inspiring thoughts.

Why do females think it is ok to desolve males masculinity by trying to be equal? This thinking only confuses the up bring of children.

Quick question. Why do so few people respond to this blog? It has baffled me now for some time.

We change lives and destinies. A bold statement? Yes! True? Yes! And it doesn't cost a dime!

The 32 (degree) Masonic Learning Centers for Children, Inc. provide free tutoring for children with dyslexia, a learning disability that affects 15-20% of the population world-wide. We also provide free training to persons interested in working with children with this challenge. We currently have 30 school-age children receiving twice-weekly tutoring, 38 weeks of the year. They come from throughout the metro area. The families and the children are thrilled to discover that learning to read is definitely possible.

It changes their lives and their destinies.
